Causes of Fibromyalgia
Pain is the root of this disease. Apart from it being chronic, it can result in major impacts in the human body. Some of the symptoms of this condition are pain, discomfort and fatigue. Although it may occur to certain parts of the body, this condition may choose a specific part and keep on migrating. Other patients suffer from the whole body condition. Up to today, causes of this disease are not established. However, scientists have come with factors that they think have contributed to this condition. The following are some of them.
One of them is hormonal changes. During stress, a hormone known as cortisol is released when a person is undergoing stress, this may often lead to his condition. The following hormones are important in the human body; serotonin and noradrenaline. This is because they regulate so many things in the human body. Examples of such things include; mood, appetite, sleep, behavior and responses to stress. However, patients with fibromyalgia have extremely low levels of these hormones. Lack or low levels of these hormones result in this condition.
Other than sleep being a symptom, it is also a cause thought to bring the above condition. This disease prevents patients from sleeping. Other than that, it makes patients feel extremely tired. The patients become restless and uncomfortable. Genetic make-up is another cause of fibromyalgia. Research has shown that some people develop this kind of condition because of their genetic make-up. Although genetics need to expound more on this, some say that some people are more prone to acquire this condition than others.
Some of the following will trigger this condition, however not all may lead to one being infected. One; an injury may make a person stressed for an extended period of time. For instance, broken limbs are as a result of very serious accidents. This may break the life careers of some people especially footballers or artists. Fibromyalgia may develop due to accumulated stress.
People who acquire viral diseases suffer from depression for the rest of their lives. Patients who find out that they have HIV/AIDS may live the rest of their lives cursing themselves. They may learn not to accept themselves for the rest of their lives. This may later lead to stress and fibromyalgia.
Lost babies after long hours of operation make mothers suffer. Not only do not the mothers become sorrowful, but also hopeless. Even in the recovery period, such mothers may take a long time. Other than stress, such mothers experience pain and anguish. There are chances of getting fibromyalgia in future.
Some relationships may be healthy or unhealthy. The impacts of unhealthy relationships are violence, abuses, accidents and even breakups. When people give in their all in a relationship and later get disappointed, they may develop fibromyalgia due to stress. In conclusion, it is important to note that most patients who get this condition are likely to be women. This is according to researchers who point out that; it is all because of hormones, genes and other immune system differences.
